Beautiful portrait of a young woman, done in pen and enhanced with gouache. The support is a slightly bluish paper. The woman wears a delicately embroidered turban (the only touches of color in the portrait). Her blue eyes attract attention. Her draped garment is barely outlined, the white gouache highlights give volume. Everything is part of the orientalist atmosphere specific to the July Monarchy.

The work is in very good condition. It is placed under glass, in a pretty old-style frame, decorated with painted motifs on the 4 corners. This is in perfect condition.
The work is signed "P. Le Boullenger" and dated 1830 at the bottom left.
