"Antide Pendulum January"
Rediscovery of an Empire period clock in gilded and patinated bronze representing the allegory of birth signed Antide Janvier N: 377. This clock is located, thanks to its number, between the dates of 1803 and 1804 (book by Michel Hayard on Antide Janvier page 298 to 300). Only about 1/3 of this watchmaker's production is known. We know that Antide Janvier produced some decorative clocks despite its technical production. This clock was not known until now.
