"Unusual German Bisque Head Marotte "
This toy for early childhood has a German-made bisque head marked 5/0, open mouth with upper teeth, stationary blue glass eyes, body that includes a wooden whistle and a squeaking mechanism activated not by rotating the wooden handle but by a vertical gesture of the latter. Two-tone artificial silk costume, trimmed with gold trim and metal bells. Good used condition, circa 1920.
