"Carriage Clock"
Clock signed jf Bautte & cie in Geneva, 1840. The gilded brass chest is 15 cm high, it has three sides with beveled windows. The dial is silver. The movement has a beautiful visible recoil lever escapement, an hourly and half-hour strike and an alarm clock. The clock can be wound at the back, where the winding holes are hidden behind a dust cover. At the back there is a signature and the different parts of the trunk are marked by his initials.
