A little history of the family workshop: The Serra family has been an important line of Catalan potters for 3 generations. Antoni Serra Fiter, master of Joan Miró and Llorens Artigas among others, began artistic ceramics at the beginning of the 20th century. His sons Antonio, Enrique and Josep Serra founded the ceramics company in 1928. Today, Jordi Serra, a member of the third generation, is still at the head of the "Serra" workshop in the Catalan town of Cornellá de Llobregat near Barcelona. He was able to elevate and perpetuate the “Serra” pottery workshop in international art by perpetuating the family know-how with various exhibitions in countries such as France, Germany, Japan and the United States. .
