"Frank Myers Boggs (1855-1926) Landscape Watercolor Drawing Over Pencil Lines"
Clouds on the path, delightful watercolor on pencil lines, a countryside landscape that inspires tranquility. Magnificently highlighted by its original Montparnasse frame, never dismantled. Signed "Frank Boggs" lower left. Dimensions: 26 cm x 40 cm and 41 cm x 55 cm with its frame. In addition to his presence at Bénézit, the painter, who no longer needs to be introduced, appears in the Dictionary of painters in Montmartre in the 19th and 20th centuries by André Roussard. The work is in good condition, natural, in its own juice, as you see it in the photos. Some chips to the frame which is a "real" good Montparnasse of the period, not late like many... Many other objects to discover in my stand at the antique fairs in which I participate. Follow my gallery to be informed of new developments and to know the dates of the next Shows...Any questions? I remain at your disposal. Do not hesitate to call me or send me a message. I will answer you with great pleasure.
