"Large Louis XV Period Flat Box"
Large flat box from the Louis XV period. First half 18th century. In dark brown leather. The lid is slightly domed. Beautiful set in scrolled bronze: large keyway, two closing hasps, gripping handle. Original functional lock fitted with an old key. The interior was refurnished in mahogany in the 19th century. The inside of the lid is covered with turned-over sheepskin. This box can be used as a cutlery set. Dimensions: L 45 x D 28.5 x H 11
