Sold at auction on March 26-28, 1890 under number 28 as Vanloo, Portrait of the Maréchale de Levis. Sold for 920 francs. To Léon Michel-Levy. Its auction on June 17-18, 1925 under number 157 as Carl Vanloo. Purchased there by Baron and Baroness Vaxelaire. Family owned since then.
