"Slate Sundial, Decorated And Dated 1704"
Slate sundial engraved and decorated with cornucopias, shells and a crown topped with the motto "In Hoc Signo Vinces", which can be translated as "by this sign you will overcome" and relating to the vision of Chrism by Constantine before the Battle of Milvian Bridge in 312 CE.
Dial dated 1704, chips at the corners, scratches and graffiti, missing the gnomon
