Body in truncated cone, base in biased plinth. Straight tumbler with discreet spout. Flat lid with sliding tongue, broken S-shaped thumb with molded crest. Half-round handle. On the exterior bottom: maker's mark of Jean Nicolas MARCHAND received in 1743. Control of the city with the navicelle from 1765. On the cup: gauge mark with the arms of PARIS 1722. On the tip of the lid inscription: "... DU NOUVEAU MONDE PARIS”, dealer’s mark? Light gray, silky patina. Height at the lid: 20 cm. Good metal density. Period second half of the 18th century.
