"Louis XVI Showcase"
Louis XVI display case in rosewood marquetry, Rio rosewood, cherry and amaranth fillets lined with sycamore. The sides are decorated with 2 medallions in Rio rosewood, framed with compound fillets, in the Greek style. It opens with a drawer topped by a door. Beautiful ornamentation of gilded varnished bronzes. The stretched glass of the door is original. It is topped with its original gray Sainte Anne marble. It bears the hollow mark "PR". Three trays of 8mm thick glass divide the interior (a few chips on the interior edges). All trimmed with its original velvet. 19th century period.
