Superb engraved plate depicting a scene in which an Arab knight on horseback, asks a farmer for news of the city behind him, pointing to it. In the city there are two churches with crosses at the entrance. This depiction of Mozarab workmanship, i.e. executed by an Arab convert to Christianity, bears an inscription that is difficult to decipher, 'EXORC'. Diameter about 30 cm. An Arabic workmanship in Sicily and an approximate dating from the thirteenth to the fourteenth century are proposed.
