"Pierre d'Avesn (1901-1990) Magnificent Opalescent Glass Cup With Geometric Art Deco Patterns 1930 "
Very beautiful opalescent glass bowl in its wrought iron frame with braided handle. Decorated with large stylized flowers and leaves with asymmetrical broken lines in shiny/matte molded-pressed relief, typical of the work of Pierre d'Avesn. Not only opalescent, its decoration is also enhanced with a green patina. It is enclosed in its original wrought iron frame decorated with flowers and their leaves facing each other. Below, it is held by four scroll patterns. You can also choose to use it without the mount; by unscrewing one of the patterns, you will release the cut. Signature in relief in the decor: P. D'AVESN - France A fine carving of the metal, a bluish/pink opalescence of the most beautiful effect, highlighted by the delicate green patina which enhances the whole. Dimensions: Diameter: 28.5 cm and 34 cm with the handle Height: 6.5 cm and 17 cm with the handle Weight: 1,550 kg Very good condition.
