Sèvres, 1785
A charming Sèvres hard-paste porcelain dinner plate, with a curved rim decorated with a frieze of wolf's teeth in gilding. The plate is painted with an elegant barbel design.
On the reverse are the Sèvres mark under the crown for the hard paste, the date letter "HH" for 1785, the painter's mark "mb" for Madame Bunel active from 1775-1817. Gilder's mark to be identified.
Condition report: a chip to the heel, wear to the gilding.
