Very decorative with a lot of presence, more amusing than terrifying !
Marble looks like a red or pink sandstone, with gray and white veining or mottling.
Dimensions: 46cm height, 41cm depth and 36cm width approximately
Weight around 30/40kg
Very good condition, and beautiful patina.
The sculpture was found a few months ago semi-buried in the park of a 16th century manor in the Orléans forest (center of France), without its provenance or origin being known. Difficult to date and understand ! (I am really open to any proposal or idea about it)
The marble used doesn't correspond to a variety found french Center region either...
