Born in 1921, she is the daughter of the painter Jules Hervé-Mathé. She studied at the School of Fine Arts in Paris. From the end of the 1940s, she exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artistes Français and the Salon des Artistes Indépendants.
This work is distinguished by a dazzling and contrasting chromaticism, predominantly blue and white.
