Sculpture after Jean-Antoine Houdon, bronze bust of Diana the Huntress with medal patina on a cherry red marble base. She is represented wearing a tunic and wearing a crescent moon on her head. Signed Houdon on her back, late 19th century In Roman mythology, Diana is the goddess of hunting and the night, compared to Artemis in Greek mythology.
