Beautiful secretary in blackened wood inlaid with nets, flowery branches, birds and butterflies. It opens on the front with three drawers and a flap. Interior with three curved drawers in rosewood, sycamore and elm burl. Shelf with leather top edged with gilding, chiseled lock. Gilded bronze ornamentation: falling pull handles, stylized keyholes, ingot molds with friezes of foliage and hearts. Ringed top legs, recessed white marble top. Around 1880.
