Snuff Box In Gold, Tortoiseshell And Composition From The 18th Century. 18th

Very beautiful 18th century box decorated with gold.

The box is round, in composition decorated with a half of gold discs.
The large rims of the lid and the base of the box are in solid gold.
A rosette, in yellow and pink gold, adorns the lid.

The inside of the box is tortoiseshell.

The gold is not hallmarked but has been tested with 18k acid.

Superb 18th century box with a beautiful decoration of rims and half gold.

Good condition for its age with traces of time. A small restoration to the rim of the lid opening. Missing base rim very barely visible because under the box and at a few points of the semi.
