Jules Moigniez (1835-1894) Epagneul And Pheasant, Important Bronze
Important bronze sculpture with a beautiful pronounced carving and its original brown patina, it represents a Spaniel fetching a Pheasant, it is signed J. Moigniez on the terrace, old cast iron from the second half of the 19th century.
MOIGNIEZ Jules (1835-1894) Sculptor born in Senlis, he exhibited regularly at the Salon from 1859 to 1892, and enjoyed great success, his bronzes were published by his father who opened a foundry for this purpose, and sold to a clientele international.
