Louis XV period By Benjamin Duvivier, 1768, signature at the bottom of the scarf. Lead engraving 6.4 cm in diameter. Original matrix of the Bronze Medal awarded by the Academy of La Rochelle for the best speech whose subject praised Henri IV. A copy of one of the bronze medals, in poor condition, is kept in the collections of the La Rochelle museums (MAH.2016.0.15 - photo 2) What can we say about the original of The Matrix in very good condition.
