An oil on canvas painting of the Emilian ambit, a delicate depiction of the Mother and Child holding each other in a tender embrace while Jesus' gaze engages the viewer. There is no lack of elements reminiscent of the Tuscan and Roman schools, datable to the 18th century and set in an important Renaissance-style frame by the Bottega Federici of Bologna active at the beginning of the 20th century.
The painting has been reintelated.
