In the style of Pierre-Philippe Thomire (1751-1843). Important Empire torchiere, wall light in gilded and patinated bronze, Antique Woman, Victoire Aîlée torch holder, with three arms of light. The figure supporting at arm's length a crown of foliage bearing three cornucopias decorated with fruits and plants forming candlesticks. Empire, 19th century. Formerly electrified. Good condition, slightly matted original gilding, one screw missing from the woman's bust, small play in the wings. Approximately 64cm high.
