A splendid and rare pair of wide firewood armchairs with high, flat backs and wide walnut seats. They feature sinuous, recessed armrests carved with acanthus leaves and rest on four cambered legs also carved with acanthus leaves.
The quality of our armchairs and the overall movement indicate a Parisian Regence period.

Our armchairs are in very good condition. They have been completely dismantled, with minor restorations to the legs.
The old-style webbing upholstery and horsehair stuffing have just been done. This pair of armchairs is upholstered in a beautiful celadon-green Lampas with floral motifs.
