a full-faced desk of ideal proportions and easy to place.

the top is lined with a beautiful patinated old pink leather which follows the curved movement of the sides.
the edge is veneered with violet wood and a fine astragal of violet wood adorns the sides and back of the top giving a cabaret table feel.
the front opens with two moving drawers veneered on oak and opening with two keys operating their old locks, the veneer on the edges of each of the drawers plays an effect of light by emphasizing the curve of the front movement.
the drawers work impeccably and are housed in the facade with the scalloped crosspiece.
the sides, facade and rear are curved and decorated with scrolled crosspieces veneered with beautiful violet wood patterns in a symmetrical manner.
the whole rests on 4 beautifully curved and very fine Louis XV legs entirely veneered with violet wood and chamfered and ending with small Louis XV bronze shoes.
the whole is in very good condition, some small restorations on the veneer. waxed varnish finish and slightly less flashy than a buffer varnish.
