"Chalice And Patene In Gilded Silver, France Circa 1927"
Chalice and paten in gilded silver in neo-Gothic style. The chalice rests on a circular base with a projection bordered by pearl friezes. The terrace is chiseled with falling lanceolate leaves. The barrel is tubular, decorated with a collar and a toric knot highlighted in its center with a frieze of foliage in stylized volutes and quatrefoils, chiselled with water leaves on each side. The shaped cup slightly conical with a straight edge is set in a false flowered cup which keeps the same ornamentation as the terrace of the chalice foot. The base is weighted. Minerva 950/1000 hallmarks on the false cut and on the edge of the terrace.
