"Beautiful Letter Opener In Sterling Silver And Horn "
Astonishing letter opener in solid silver and horn with symbolist decoration of warrior in armor and chain mail dating from the end of the 19th century or beginning of the 20th century. Perfect condition, horn tip very slightly blunted. I did not find a hallmark but it may be hidden in the finely chiseled decoration. This warrior with a very strong face and expression evokes the symbolist representations of the time. Dimensions: approximately 32 cm long.
