A monoxyle cane top with a cylindrical shaft, the upper part of which is carved in four slightly curved sections, with four triangular masks on the front and back, arranged symmetrically in five superimposed registers, punctuated by fine geometric incisions forming knots. The side cartouches of the same number are animated by obliques.
The pommel is carved with the face of a dignitary in the round, wearing a headdress in the shape of a "tota" shell, entirely striated with characteristic parallel incisions, associated with the power and authority of the chiefs.
