Important oak paneling with neoclassical decoration in carved relief. Bows, pompoms, acanthus leaves and flowers. Initially, it was to be integrated into a paneled tower testifying to the sumptuous intimacy of the hotels and homes in which the elites of the old regime lived. It is most certainly a “door top” or a paneled strip. It was intended to decorate an architrave capping a column or pilaster of woodwork. Admirable French work from the end of the 18th century. Can be integrated into a modern decor, the lines and shades of trianon gray blend perfectly with contemporary furniture. Ready to hang.
