Unidentified maker's mark: sword scabbard / C.T.
Height: 22.2 cm.
APT, 18th century
Exceptional provenance, unique example encountered in nearly 50 years of frequenting pewter.
In good condition, two impacts on the body and one filling at the bottom are however reported.
The hallmarking, very legible, borrows the furnishings of the city's arms which are: "Gules, with a golden sword placed pale in its sand sheath, buckled in gold, the bouterolle of the same".
