Inspired by the collection of medals of the kings of France commissioned by de Launay, the corners of which had been engraved by Thomas Bernard in the 18th century, Armand Auguste Caqué, commissioned by Madame La Dauphine, executed the famous "Numismatic Gallery of the Kings of France", set of 74 medals which was exhibited at the Salon from 1836 to 1839.
3 medals complete the original series; Henri Charles Ferdinand Marie Dieudonné - Duke of Bordeaux - F. Dubois 1827, and the 2 French Republic medals.
