A wonderfully patinated early 19th-century French hammered copper confectionery pot used in the candy and chocolate-making process,With hand-forged handles and a hammered copper riveted rim.
In original untouched condition, with a period repair to a handle and a few dents makes a great look, it can be polished if desired.
The pot is watertight and can be used as a wine cooler or adapted as a sink in a butler's pantry or powder room.
