Scandinavian bar on casters, in Rio rosewood, signed Torbjørn Afdal (1917-1999) for the Norwegian company Bruksbo. A true design legend, Afdal, a graduate of the National Academy of Craft and Art Industry, is considered one of the most prolific and respected designers of his time. His designs were used by the Kennedys at the White House and the Emperor of Japan. This bar has a two-part folding top mounted on brass hinges, covered in black laminate. This piece of furniture opens with two doors equipped with a magazine rack and three glass shelves with brass holding rod. The interior offers two compartments separated by a shelf, two bottle holders covered in green felt and a drawer. The whole thing rests on four chrome casters. Handy and functional, this bar cabinet will appeal to lovers of the minimalist and refined movement that is Scandinavian design.
