ALERT: The Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein presents the first international retrospective dedicated to the work of Romanian-born artist Paul Neagu (1938–2004), who lived and worked in London from 1971 until his death. From 16.5.2021 to 5.9.2021 Paul Neagu (1938, Bucharest - 2004, London) was a British-Romanian artist who worked in various media such as drawing, sculpture, performance art and watercolor. He died in London on June 16, 2004. His influences include Cubism and Marcel Duchamp. His works can be found in public collections including, among others, the British Museum in London, the Fond Départemental d'Art Contemporain en Seine Saint-Denis in Bobigny, France, the Galerie Municipale d'Art Moderne Hugh Lane in Dublin. , the Musée Cantonal des beaux-arts de Lausanne in Switzerland, the National Museum of Art of Romania in Bucharest, the Philadelphia Museum of Art in the USA and the Tate Gallery in London.
