RESERVIST TANK OF PRIVATE KINZEL OF THE 2nd COMPANY OF THE KÖNIGLICHE EISENBAHN REGIMENT N°1, Second Reich. 28185 Tankard which belonged to reservist Kinzel serving in the 1st Railway Regiment from Schöneberg to Berlin, in stoneware stamped on the base with the trademark, with patriotic and military motifs. Regimental symbols, name of the soldier and his regimental companions. On the front, initials “ER I” of the regiment (Eisenbahn Regiment) topped with the imperial crown. Locomotive on top of pewter cover. On one side drawing of a locomotive with dates of armed service between 1902 and 1904. H 28.5 cm Germany. Second Reich. Very good state. Note: unusual tankard, knowing that before the war during the years of service of our reservist in 1902/1904, the imperial army only included 3 regiments of this weapon, a fourth being raised in 1914.
