Signed lower right Bru.
Born in 1933 in Fumel (Lot-et-Garonne), he spent his childhood and youth in Albi (Tarn). After teaching drawing in college for fifteen years, he held the position of professor of drawing at the fine arts in Toulon from 1976 until his retirement in 1993.
At the same time, he devoted his time to his art, drawing in pencil on paper sometimes enhanced with color, and had numerous exhibitions, notably in Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, Vence, Toulon and at the Villa Tamaris where, after a retrospective in 1997, it was exhibited again in 2008.
He died on September 14, 2023 in Toulon.
