Very beautiful large painted canvas representing a battle scene from the reign of Louis XIV. "defeat of the Spanish army near the Bruges canal under the leadership of Marsin by the troops of King Louis XIV in the year 1677". Titled in a cartridge Very good condition, beautiful colors Lined with linen canvas and jute strip for hanging. Work from the mid-20th century 171 cm x 247 cm Very decorative and beautifully executed. Some photos may have shadows due to folds in the canvas. this one having never been stretched on a wall. These creases come out without problem with gentle ironing on the reverse side.
