"And A Cowboy's House.... Henderson Biscuit Box 1911"
Antique Henderson & Sons American "Long Cabin" House Biscuit Tin Made in 1911 Hinged lid Tin is modeled in the form of the American Log Cabin Measures about 6 1/2" across, 4 3/4" tall, 4 1/2" wide And so I continue to dream, as do all the toddlers who were allowed to put their hand in the cookie box... in 1911... How beautiful it was at the time when, a simple sheet of metal in relief, lithographed took you on your horse to the plains of the Faw West... Sometimes pursued by the Indians sometimes to return to the ranch, sometimes to cut wood.... or sharpen your ax on the grindstone. had there been a fireplace we could even have evoked the smell of a wood fire... Thank you, beautiful biscuit box, for having survived the ages without too much damage.
