Marcello Fantoni (1915-2011): Free-form ceramic vase, rotating decoration with four women, circa 1950. Height 27.5 cm Diameter at widest 10 cm Fantoni Italy signature under the base. Condition: small chips on the collar, barely visible, very close-ups are visible in the lest photos. Otherwise in excellent condition, colors perfectly preserved. Marcello Fantoni (1915-2011): Florentine artist specializing in ceramics, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. Libero Andreotti and Bruno Innocenti were his sculpture teachers and Gianni Vagnetti his figurative art teacher. He opened his factory in 1936, Fratelli Fanciullacci in Montelupo near Florence.
