The works of this artist are rare and sought after. Here, an oil on cardboard (or on paper), framed under glass, representing a still life, signed and dated in 1936. Note: a few small stains on the marie-louise at the top right. I preferred not to deframe this work to clean it, in order to leave it with its authenticity. In 1920, Ary Arcadie Lochakov arrived in Paris. Two years later, he exhibited at the Salon d'Automne, at the Indépendants then at the Salon des Tuileries. He works part-time in a photography workshop to earn a living. The rest of the time he devotes to painting. He died in 1941. When he died, all his works were sold at auction.
