"Large Mirror In Carved, Gilded And Painted Wood. Italy 18th."
The sides have leafy scrolls on a green background, topped with "crosses". The pediment is decorated with a floral garland between two branches. The bottom receives a shell; the top is foliage. The lower rail, animated by scrolls, is sculpted with a knotted bouquet. All the golden decorations stand out against a beautiful green background. The rear parquet floor is original as well as the mercury glass (light stains). Beautiful Italian work from the 18th century.
