Important Marine painting from the Art Deco period (97 cm of Latouche (ARCHIVES: Antilles line: Le Havre - Bordeaux - Fort de France - Colon) sailing at full steam on a rough tropical blue sea. Beautiful period frame in molded gilded wood highlighted with a laurel twist motif. Have a good summer overall. Dimensions: 97 cm of the navy in the Le Havre directory. He painted in a traditional style, at the request of sailors, numerous portraits of ships frequenting the port of Le Havre, particularly the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique and the Chargeurs Réunis. In 1922 he was appointed official painter of the Navy then painter of the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique.
