Persian 12th century (certainly Syria, or Iran)
Superb and rare pitcher with 1 handle, unglazed white terracotta and molded decoration on its upper part with a frieze of foliage comprising stylized geometric and floral motifs, and faces.
Very good condition, without any restoration, which makes it a rare piece: this pottery is in fact extremely light (around 600g) and fragile.
Dimensions 19cm high, 14cm diameter (and 14,5 with handle)
