Rare 18th century French Shell pattern Sugar Sifter Spoon in Sterling Silver. Magnificent pierce articulated around a beautiful central rosette of tears and tulips. Hallmarks of Charge (bassinet flower flanked by ornaments and six fleurons) and Discharge (helmeted head in profile) for PARIS 1768-74, Hallmark of Jurande for PARIS 1772 (I Crowned) and Hallmark prob. from Master Goldsmith Pierre-Guillaume DUCY received in 1764. This sugar sifter spoon from the Louis XV period, rare model with shell fillets, is in very good condition and remarkably hallmarked.
