"Capucine From The Directoire Period. "
Vintage nasturtium from the end of the 18th century. The dial is enameled with the Roman inscription of the numbers and the separation of the minutes by sticks.
The clock strikes the hour, then it repeats the hours after about two minutes, which allows you to count the strokes; it strikes the half-hour once (Morbier chime).
It repeats the last hour on demand by pressing a lever on the right side which allows you to determine the time in the dark.
The nasturtium has been serviced but the alarm clock is tired.
