Ludwig Moser has developed a glass without lead and without sodium or potassium. More ecological than lead glass, it is nevertheless extremely solid and remains the basis of its products. The Splendid model was created in 1911 and remains, to this day, the most beautiful and richest model in their collection. Sublime chalice shape, enriched with a large golden frieze polished with agate, it requires the assistance of 36 craftsmen for its manufacture. Given as a wedding gift to Queen Elizabeth II for her marriage in 1947 by the President of the Czech Republic, it also adorns most of the tables of the Gulf monarchies and certain European monarchies. It remains one of the most beautiful examples of gilded crystal glasses in the world and ranks alongside the Thistle model from Saint Louis, the Harcourt Empire model from Baccarat or the Pampre Doré from Val Saint Lambert.
