Beautiful pressed horn snuffbox. The cover depicts a song for Cupid The mechanism plays 2 melodies as written on the original melody sheet. It is signed on the melody sheet inside the cover. The music box was made in Switzerland and plays as you would expect from a music box from this manufacturer and era. Due to the general condition of this piece, it can be described as very exceptional. All damage and signs of use indicate a past marked by great care and dedication. It is over 100 years old and therefore has some defects which correspond to the age of the object. Late 19th century
