17th Century Mirror In Blackened Wood

Beautiful 17th century mirror in blackened wood in very good condition without any damage. It alternates moldings with varied designs, including wavelets, smooth molding and guilloche strip, and thus plays on the effects of contrast between the smooth and the relief elements. At the same time it captures the light, while it is reflected by the glass. As for the latter, it is very old and well weathered by time. it may have been changed, as well as the wooden panel protecting it. It measures 18.5 x 23.5 cm. The mirror 46 x 51 cm.
