His stay in Algeria constitutes a revelation on the treatment of light and the use of warm tones. From 1917, his style developed under the influence of Cézanne and La Fresnaye. He creates numerous compositions evoking his two years spent in Algeria. Dimensions of the canvas: 40 cm x 32.5 cm Dimensions with frame: 63 cm x 55 cm
