Beautiful double-sided luminous work by the Cannes painter, Louis Pastour which represents fishermen in the bay of Cannes on a summer day.
On the front, the painter chose to represent a sun rising or setting in the bay of Cannes bustling with fishermen.
On the back, the painter chose to represent fishermen in the bay of Cannes with the old town and the Suquet district in the background.

The large red sail sharp as a wing, its typical boats, the light of the sky, of the sea... immerse us in the air of the old Cannes of the belle époque. Worker by day and student in the evening at the School of Decorative Arts in the city of Nice and then Paris, he exhibited for the first time at the age of 45. In 1902, he founded with a group of workers passionate about art: the Association of Fine Arts of Cannes of which he was the general secretary.
Through this association, painters from the region are highlighted through an annual exhibition.
A painter of light with total mastery of colors, Louis Pastour uses the knife technique to bring his works to life.
